I’ve counseled clients for 14 years, and I never tire of the joy of watching people regain their inner strength, self-confidence, and sense of well-being.
I counsel children, teens, adults, families, couples, and groups, treating a variety of challenges – from job stress to major life crisis, from relationship conflicts to mood/anxiety issues. I specialize in treating traumas – something that has upset your emotional, mental, or other balance. To do this, I use a very effective therapy called EMDR, which can create rapid relief without all the ‘talking about it’ that some people wish to avoid. My basic treatment philosophy is based on Attachment and Object Relations Theory; we are human beings who need healthy relationship with both our ‘self’ and with others, and addressing past wounds can free you up to have a much richer now.
