About Me
When you are ready for counseling you need to trust the counselor you choose to be competent, compassionate and able to help change take place. I have worked with a wide variety of clients, from individuals in major life transitions, to couples in crisis to youth and families facing issues of addiction. I can guide you through difficulties as well as coach you to your highest and greatest potential. Connection is the most important thing when you are seeking a counselor. The research shows this connection is the one greatest factor to indicate change will take place in counseling.
It is my goal to assist you through a strong connection, researched based interventions and collaborative counseling. One of my specialities is using the Core Values Index. This assessment can reveal your innate, unchanging core values. When you understand these, you will more easily find your highest and greatest contribution.
I strategize action oriented goals, giving you specific homework assignments to work on. So no matter what brings you to counseling, you will be working toward a goal during every session. I even have you grade me on my performance to ensure I am the right counselor for you!
