About Me

Donna El-Armale, LMFT works with individual -adults and teens and maintains a private practice in Culver City and El Segundo in Southern California.

With 10+ years experience as a marriage and family therapist, and as a graduate of Phillips Graduate Institute, Donna uses a humanistic/cognitive behavioral tools in therapy. Currently, she works with a broad spectrum of clients. Among her areas of expertise working with issues of grief and loss, trauma recovery and anger management. Her early training included working with adults facing a life threatening illness, court dependent children and counseled family members who have children with developmental delays and other special needs i.e. Autism.

In addition to being a therapist, Donna El-Armale provides workshops on topics of stress and anger management. Donna El-Armale is also an adjunct faculty member at Cal State University Dominguez Hills, Long Beach and Fullerton. Some of the many subjects taught are courses in behavior modification, the experience of death/dying, psychology of stress, child development and psychology of gender/women.

Donna also utilizes an interactive, solution-focused approach. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
