About Me
I am a psychotherapist, trained for many years specifically in couples/family therapy and individual therapy around relationship issues and personal growth. I enjoy a private practice with a philosophy that change is possible, a bit of levity and humor can go a long way as needed, and a style of warmth and personal attention to each client and his or her goals is essential to me in my work. The significant "stories" of each person in therapy need to be heard: to heighten self- awareness, to comprehend where our deepest beliefs and self-concepts arise from in order to make healthier and more satisfying choices for ourselves and in our relationships in life. These stories become our maps as to who and where we are in our lives and where we want to arrive to achieve our greateast happiness. My role is to facilitate this understanding which can enable you to get yourself on the right paths.
