You can filter by telehealth availability, sliding scale fees, whether they're accepting new clients, and more. Therapists with Premium listings will have video introductions so you can get a real feel for who they are before reaching out.
Every listing on Therapick is reviewed for quality by our team before it goes live.

Each therapist profile has a contact form. Fill in your name, email, phone (optional), and a brief message about what you're looking for. Your message goes directly to the therapist — Therapick cannot see the conversation. You don't need to create an account to send a message. The therapist will typically respond within a few business days.
Yes, completely free. You can search, browse profiles, watch videos, and contact therapists at no cost. You don't need to create an account.
Premium therapists can add up to 5 YouTube videos to their profile — typically a brief introduction, an overview of their approach, or a Q&A. These are recorded by the therapist themselves and give you a genuine sense of their personality, communication style, and what it might be like to work with them. Think of it as a first impression before the first session.
Go to register.php and fill out your profile — name, credentials, bio, location, specialties, fees, and more. Once submitted, our team reviews your listing within 1–2 business days and approves it if everything checks out. You'll receive an email when your listing goes live. Basic listings are completely free.
Most listings are reviewed within 1–2 business days. If we need additional information we'll reach out by email. You can log into your dashboard at any time to check your listing status.
Yes. Log into your dashboard at any time to update your bio, specialties, fees, location, availability, and more. Changes go live immediately — no re-approval needed for edits to an existing approved listing.
You can request removal at any time by emailing hello@therapick.com from the email address associated with your account. We'll remove your listing within 2 business days. If you have an active Premium subscription, please cancel it first from your dashboard to avoid further charges.
Premium members get:
Premium is $29/month or $249/year (saving $99 vs monthly). You can upgrade from your dashboard at any time. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
Once you're a Premium member, go to your dashboard and scroll to the Videos section. Paste a YouTube URL, choose a video type (Intro, Approach, Q&A, or Other), add a title, and click Add Video. Your video will appear on your public profile immediately. You can add up to 5 videos.
Yes, you can cancel at any time from your dashboard. Your Premium features will end immediately and you will be partially funded for unused days in your billing period. After cancellation, your listing will revert to a free basic listing and your videos will be hidden.
Yes — Therapick uses YouTube embeds rather than hosting videos directly. Simply upload your video to YouTube (you can set it as unlisted if you don't want it appearing in YouTube search), then paste the URL into your dashboard. This keeps things simple and means there's no file size limit or upload time to worry about.
